Tuck Shop milk fights
I believe this was the year of the Tuck Shop milk fights. Let me explain: the company that supplied milk to the Tuck Shop began selling it in small plastic bags, instead of the more conventional cartons. This worked well until one or more students discovered that you could cut a small hole off one corner of the bag and spray your friends with milk. When half the students were doing this, the administration thought it was time to put an end to it, and required the Tuck Shop to resume purchasing milk in cartons.
