When do we get the promised full version of Miami? |
| A: |
A full version of Miami is not part of OS 3.5 (and was never planned). As to the story regarding the OEM version please contact me. [Holger Kruse]
Note: While not an official statement from Amiga Inc.--Gary Peake, Director of Developer Support for Amiga Inc.--pointed out on the official OS 3.5 mailing list that "...we [Amiga Inc.] did not actually burn the CDs. We were not actually involved in the initial stages is my understanding. Remember, it was a Gateway project."

Why won't the "AmigaMail" program download my e-mail? |
| A: |
Apparently the "prefs" part of the program has a little bug. You need a spool file to store downloaded mail, and AmigaMail will import them to your Inbox folder from this file. Don't mix this up with the spool folder from the folder list--the folder is for outgoing mail, and the file is for incoming mail. You need go to the prefs window and use a file in the "spool file" box. That file doesn't have to exist. It will be created by AmigaMail when you first download mail from your POP3 server. |

My AWeb toolbar buttons are wrecked, can I fix them? |
| A: |
This is mentioned in the original FAQ as well--with the note "there's no way around it", but you can fix this very easily: load the toolbar image into an image processing or paint program and save it as a .gif file. You might also try removing the "transparent" tooltype from the .info file--a user reported this helps as well. |
